Yuzvendra Chahal has been the most active on social media ever since the lockdown started. He has kept his fans entertained by posting dance videos with his family and leaving witty comments under other cricketers’ pictures.
On Thursday, he once again enthralled his fans by turning into a rapper for the latest viral clip – ‘Rasode Mein Kaun Tha’. The cricketer performed the skit with his fiancee, Dhanashree Verma. The clip has gone viral on social media and has garnered over 1.5 million likes.
The upcoming season of IPL 2020 will mark Chahal’s comeback to competitive cricket. He was to lead Team India’s spin attack against South Africa following a short break after the white-ball matches against New Zealand but the series had to be postponed.
He was one of the players to land in Bengaluru in August and remained in isolation for less than a week. In the third week of the month, RCB’s players boarded the flight to UAE. The players and officials remained in isolation for another six days. Chahal will once again lead RCB’s spin attack. He will be assisted by the likes of Adam Zampa, Washington Sundar, and Pawan Negi.
Chahal and Dhanashree had announced their engagement last month. She hasn’t accompanied the cricketer to UAE. Dhanashree is a famous YouTuber and has a fan base.
The players have all reached UAE to start training for IPL, which is scheduled to start from September 19th.
