When asked to give her take on aspiring young cricketers, Supernovas’ captain Harmanpreet picked Ayushi Soni as a player to watch out for in the future. Right-handed Delhi batsman Ayushi is slated to represent Harmanpreet Kaur-led side in the upcoming Women’s T20 Challenge-2020 season.

20-year-old Ayushi has impressed Harmanpreet by doing well in domestic cricket. She said that Ayushi has the talent to represent the Indian women cricket team by batting in the middle order, because it is an aspect where team India has been struggling, currently. Besides batting, Ayushi also bowls right-arm with a fast-medium pace.
She has thanked the Indian cricket board, BCCI and others who are involved in organising the T20 tournament in UAE in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
Promising youngsters in Mithali Raj’s Velocity
Mithali Raj, Team Velocity’s captain and Team India veteran picked Manali Dakshini and Murali Anagha as young stars for the future, who will be playing for Team Velocity. Mithali said that Manali is a skillful fast bowler and 16-year-old Murali is a left-arm spinner.
Mithali said that this T20 tournament will give talented youths a platform for exposure to interact with overseas players. She further added that these young girls can learn the approach that a professional athlete has, through this Women’s T20 tournament.
