At the age of 12, when most of the kids don’t know their talents, Anushka Dixit had set a new example. A resident of Barkingside, London, Anushka is now among the top one percent of people in the world when it comes to intellect. Last year, she had officially declared brighter than two historical intellectuals Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawkings after scoring the highest points in the Mensa IQ test. Mensa test is a well-known intelligence examination to estimate IQ levels.

Anushka took her Mensa IQ test at the University of East London on April 20, 2019. She memorised the whole periodic table in just 40 minutes. Also Read: 16-year-old girl became PM of Finland for a day, talked over the impact of technology on gender equality

She scored 162 points, which is 2 points higher than that of Einstein and Hawking. She is believed to be a child miracle. For fact, neither Einstein nor Hawking is believed to have taken the test but their IQs are estimated to be 160.

For the membership of Mensa, one has to score at or above the 98th percentile on particularly standardised IQ tests or other certified intelligence tests. Anushka said, “After clearing the 11-plus exam, I wanted to go for a new challenge, so I took the Mensa IQ test. I received the highest points. And I was totally surprised at that. I was intending for 162 points but I was still surprised.” 

Speaking about her plans, she said, “In the future, I want to become a doctor. If that doesn’t come true then there are other professions also that I like. I could go into finance. I like Maths. Her mother, Arti Dixit said that Anushka is her only child and she has been a bright student since the very beginning.
